Our website terms of purchase

These terms of purchase, the website terms of use and all other terms included in this site apply to all our products sold on this website.

Please make sure that you have read these terms of purchase carefully before you place an order. These terms may change. Please check these terms of purchase each time you place an order to make sure you know what the current terms are.

On-line ordering

There are two basic steps to buying a product on this site.

1 Choose products by clicking on the [BUY ME] button to add them to your shopping basket. Clicking [GO] shows you more detail about a product. Feel free to browse - items you have added to the shopping basket can be easily removed before you place your order

2 Complete your order by filling in the registration form and providing payment and delivery information.

General conditions

1 We accept on-line orders through our website to be delivered in the [United Kingdom] mainland only.

2 These terms of purchase apply to goods business customers buy from us. We may or may not accept your order. We will not accept any orders from individual customers. All orders must be made by businesses.

3 The information displayed on our website, including prices, is not an offer to enter into an agreement. By placing an order for products, you make an offer to us to buy the products you have selected under these terms and conditions.

4 When you place your order, we will acknowledge we have received your order on a web confirmation page which will show your order and give you an order confirmation number (you can use this number to track your order in the later stages of the process). We will also send an e-mail to the address given in your order (where an e-mail address is given). We will not have accepted your order until we have authorised your credit-card payment and the product is available to send to you.

5 An order acceptance confirmation will be a legal agreement between you and us, which will be formed as soon as we have sent you a confirmation e-mail accepting your order. It is your responsibility to print a copy of this order confirmation. You must check that your mailbox is working properly, and you are responsible for all transmission or operational failures.

6 If we cannot accept your order for any reason, we will contact you to let you know either by e-mail (where an e-mail address is given), or by post or phone (where an e-mail address has not been given).

7 You cannot cancel your order once we have sent you confirmation that we have accepted your order.

Prices

8 All prices are in pounds sterling. Products and prices may change without notice. The prices of the products on your order are the prices shown on our website at the time you make your order or (if lower) the prices we give you when we confirm that we have accepted your order. You will have to pay VAT on top of prices.

9 We have the right to alter any prices shown on the site if there is a mistake in the price or to reflect any increase in the cost to us, which is due to any factor beyond our control. We will confirm the correct price in the order acceptance confirmation. You will have 48 hours from receiving the order acceptance confirmation to cancel the order. If you do not do so, we will consider that you have accepted the correct or increased price.

10 We will add the cost of delivery to the cost of the product. These charges are based on the delivery options you choose and may vary from product to product. Delivery costs are set out on the relevant price information page.

Products

11 Some products may not be available and may be withdrawn at any time.

12 You must make sure that before you place an order you check all the relevant details about the products you have selected, as their details may have changed since you last visited this website.

13 We have the right to restrict the number of products you order or the value of your order. Product availability may also be affected by operator restrictions. From time to time, we may set further restrictions and conditions to tackle fraud.

14 We own the copyright for all artwork, design, text, storyboards and all other work in the products.

16 You can pay by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Delta or Switch.

17 Your goods must be sent to an address to which the payment card is registered.

18 Your payment card will be debited or your credit card will be charged when we issue an invoice and send the products to you. If the product is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you by phone or e-mail and we will not debit your payment card until the product is ready for delivery. You may cancel the order at this point. We will send the invoice to you at the billing address shown on your order.

19 We protect the personal information we collect about our customers, in particular credit-card details, by storing it on servers protected by passwords and firewalls. 22 Depending on the delivery option you choose, our carrier may phone you before the delivery to arrange a time and date for delivery. When they deliver your products, they may ask for proof of identification and a signature from the credit-card holder.

23 We will do all we can to deliver your products within the timescale of the delivery option you have chosen, but will not be responsible for any delays.

24 If you fail to take delivery of the products, or our carrier cannot deliver because it cannot gain access or contact you, we have the right to:

  • store the products and charge you the costs of doing so; or
  • sell the products at the best price and (after taking all reasonable storage and selling expenses) refund or charge you for any difference above or below the price you paid.

25 You will be responsible for getting rid of all packaging material.

Title and risk

26 You are responsible for any loss when we deliver the products to you.

27 We will own the products until you have paid for them in full. Until you pay in full, we will be entitled to order you to deliver the products to us. If you fail to do this, we have the right to enter your premises or any premises where the products are stored to repossess them.

Warranties

28 We guarantee that the products will match their description when we deliver them, and there will be no faults in the material or print quality.

29 We give the above guarantee under the following conditions.
a We will not be responsible for any fault in the products arising from any drawing, design or detail you gave us.
  b We will not be responsible for any fault arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, exceptional or unusual conditions, misuse or alteration;
c We will not have any responsibility under the above warranty (or any other warranty, condition or guarantee) if you have not paid the total price for the products by the due date for payment.
d The above guarantee does not cover the contents of any of our booklets or other publications. We have done all we can to make sure that the content is accurate at the time of going to print, but are not responsible for its continued accuracy or correctness. We do not guarantee that the content is a full description of the subject which it relates to, and we will not be responsible for any incident which may arise from anyone relying on the content. You acknowledge that the content is not intended to replace formal publications on the subject or your business policies and procedures.

30 We make no guarantees except those contained in these terms of purchase. This guarantee may change without notice. The guarantee will apply to your purchase at the date of your order, and as sent to you with the product or products.

31 You must tell us, within seven days of the delivery date, if you are going to make a claim which is based on any fault in the quality or condition of the products or their failure to match the specification. If you do not tell us, you will not be entitled to reject the products and we will not be responsible for any fault or failure. You will then have to pay the full price for the products.

32 If you make a valid claim based on a fault in the quality or condition of the products, or their failure to meet the specification, we may replace the products (or the part in question) free of charge or refund to you the price of the products (or a percentage of the price), in which case we will have no further responsibility to you.

Limitation of responsibility

33 Nothing in these terms will limit our responsibility in relation to personal injury or death directly caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.

34 Our total liability will not be more than the price of the particular products sold.

35 We will not be responsible to you for loss of profit, or for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation (whether caused by our negligence or that of our employees or agents), which arise out of or in connection with supplying the products (including any delay in supplying or any failure to supply the products in line with these terms) or their use or resale by you or your employees or agents.

Export control

36 You agree to keep to all the current export laws relating to exporting, re-exporting transferring or reselling the products (export laws). You agree not to export any product to any country for which you need an export licence or other government approval, without first getting all the necessary licences or other approvals. You must not live in, be under the control of, or be a national of any country to which you are not allowed to export products.

Events beyond our control
